418 Apparel started as a thought in my head in the middle of the night. “So many people live their lives full of regret, boredom, depression and fear because they don’t know to live full of purpose. What if people wore clothes that helped them remember that they have a purpose, that they were made for more than monotonous living? What if young people lived differently because of the clothes they wore? What if they lived to have an impact on their campus, their friends, and the world around them?” But I knew I couldn’t do it alone. So I asked one of my best friends to dream with me and make this happen. We got excited! We both always loved inspiring people to live their dreams, change the world, and find their God-given purpose. We started going to work on some designs and after, some pretty horrible ones, finally landed on one’s we could be proud of. And so 418 Apparel was launched.

Since I’m a youth pastor and Colton is a young adults director, we both really want to inspire teens, young adults and, well, everyone to know and live their purpose! Honestly, we are just two guys trying to inspire young people and everyone to stop living beneath who they were made to be and live a life full! Let’s change the world together!

P.S. 418 comes from a verse in the Bible, Luke 4:18. It says, The Spirit of the Lord is on me (Jesus), because He has empowered me to proclaim good news to the poor, He has sent me to tell the captives they are free, and recover of sight to the blind, and set free those who are bound up. We believe that Jesus did this for us, and we get to do that for others. It’s also what our logo stands for!
